36 pages printed on heavy weight paper. Card cover with a grey litho printed photo of my sketchbooks. Hand pulled neon screen print overlaid. This issue contains pages from my sketchbooks, from jumbled notes and observations to detailed pen and ink sketches. It also contains preliminary drawings and notes for paintings I do on walls. I've halved my print run for this one because I'm getting ready to release my first full length book this summer so I need the space! Total printed = 1000

Issue 8
40 pages printed on heavy weight paper. Card cover with a hand pulled two colour screen print using metallic inks. This issue is a selection of satirical adverts and cheap jokes. It's an angry issue that pokes fun at the media and product saturated world we live in. Adverts range from abortion clinics and unicorn porn to men's razors, bagged air and fortune tellers. Total printed = 2000

Issue 7
12 double size pages digitally printed on smooth paper. Colour digital cover with a litho printed tracing paper strap to keep it folded to the book size. Strap secured by a screen printed phlegm sticker. This issue is partly based on advertising but more than anything it was an experiment in which I played around with the format and the balance of ink on each page. The larger format allowed for some heavily detailed drawing. Total printed = 2000

30 pages litho printed on heavy weight postcards. The contents are contained in a brown litho printed envelope. This is a mix of illustrations and photos of artwork I've sprayed on walls. There are also some single page wordless strips in there that i plan to extend as a mini comic some time. Total printed = 2000

100 page anthology of all the loose doodles I included in the early issues of phlegm. Nice box spine and fold out three colour screen printed cover. It also came in a dust jacket and with a free badge. Numbered and signed edition of = 100.

52 litho printed pages. Yellow card cover with a red litho printed image. This issue is an eclectic mix of illustration, cheap jokes, random observations and satire. This issue is full of experiments in style and format, containing everything from rough sketchbook pages to fine detail drawings. Total printed = 1500

. 56 digitally printed pages. Card cover wrapped in news print from sri lanka and a phlegm logo sticker on top. With this issue I experimented with doing longer strips and some interesting single page abstract cartoons. I started a story which I intended on doing for each issue but I really didn't like the way I'd drawn it so I never continued it and cut the printing of the zine short, making it the least printed of all my zines and comics. Total printed = 400

58 photocopied pages. Shiny card cover with spray stencil phlegm logo. I used to hate all of this issue but looking at it now there's about five or six pages I still really like, it's just a pitty there's so many in there that make me cringe. It's a mix of short sketches, sketchbook gags and illustration. Total printed = 800

56 photocopied pages. Extra thick textured card cover with phlegm logo embossed. This issue was done in a rush after the shock success of the first issue…so I drew it under pressure and with an overwhelming disbelief. Looking back at it, it's badly drawn badly scanned and most of it makes me cringe. Total printed = 800
issue 1
First printed June 2005. 54 photocopied pages. Cover made from paper I had recycled myself out of news papers. Phlegm logo rubber stamped on the cover. I originally printed thirty of this first zine in 2005 and I kept on printing it in batches of 100 after that until I finally capped it and moved on after doing over three thousand of them. The most impressive thing about that is that I was hand making all the paper for the covers in my bath at home! The artworks messy and most of it came from my sketchbooks, some of its too honest and self indulgent, but I never really drew any of it expecting an audience so I'll let myself off. Total printed = 3000!
